The Philippine Society of Oncologists (PSO) is pleased to announce its annual research contest, open to all members of the medical community in the Philippines. This year’s theme is “Diagnostic and Multidisciplinary Oncologic Developments towards Precision Outcomes.” We encourage submissions that highlight significant contributions to the field of oncology, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and advancing our understanding of cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

Categories

Case Reports. Presentation of unique or challenging clinical cases that offer valuable insights into cancer diagnosis, management, or rare presentations.

Retrospective Studies. Analyses of existing data to identify trends, patterns, and risk factors associated with cancer, treatment outcomes, or patient experiences.

Prospective Studies. Original research investigating new approaches to cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, or supportive care, conducted with a defined methodology and data collection plan.
